This is my first attack at the website for an autobody shop here in Calgary. At this point I'm waiting for feedback from them. I think one of my problems is when I design for web I choose very heavy contrasting colours and seldom find room for minimalism. I guess you could say I'm "obvious" in the way that I design. Maybe it's just the way I look at things, or maybe it's because I look too much at how I'm going to actually build it.

Hi, i have some comments which may sound a bit harsh, please dont take them that way, i realised that after writing what popped my mind.

As you said your designs might be a bit obvious, well they might in certain aspects, but I still see creativity in the different layouts, you sure have a style when it comes to this, but to say their all alike , then my anwser would be no. There is a certain touch that makes each design unique.

That said, I wanted to continue with a small point, perhaps you could pump up the font size a bit of the lorem ipsum tekst, just 1 notch.
In addition to that, I would like to say, that I prefer the navigation buttons on the left a bit smaller font size (again just a notch to make them more "accessable"), and perhaps ditch the transparancy on them.

And now I have another general comment for your designs. I can really see (and know a bit from projects we've worked on), that your designs are photoshop based, and they tend to stick to a certain size. What would be really neat is that you do a bit more with the whitespace in the browser. For instance center the layout and stretch the sides (one could do gif/jpeg repeating on the top to maintain the graphics).

I do have to say that I like the comeback of the round corner in the header into the menu bar in the top left corner of it.

I hope above comments dont sound too offensive in any way, I just want to give some constructive critisism.
